Both Jette Wells Commence Production

Det norske oljeselskap ASA reported on Wednesday May 22nd, that production had commenced from the North Sea Jette field. Jette is developed with two subsea wells, tied back to the ExxonMobil operated Jotun platform.

Both wells are now in production and several tests have been carried out. Based on initial results from the wells, Det norske expects that the gross initial production from the field will be in the range of 12,000 to 15,000 barrels of oil. Jette is a small field and there are uncertainties with respect to future production rates. The company has previously indicated an initial production level of about 10,000 barrels of oil per day.

Det norske publish production volumes on a monthly basis here.

Det norske is the operator of Jette, holding a 70 percent interest. Petoro is the partner, with a 30 percent interest.
