Arklow Shipping is an Irish Family-Owned company with close to 60 years of experience in
ship-owning/operating ships in the dry bulk shipping sector. With management teams based in Arklow and Rotterdam, the group currently operates a fleet of 62 ultramodern ships, principally trading in Northwestern Europe. The group is progressive, internationally focused and growth oriented. As we are continuously renewing our fleet, we are looking for experienced and motivated crew to join one of our Dutch flagged vessels on short notice. 

What we require:

• In possession of a valid Certificate of Competency
• In possession of a valid medical health certificate accepted by Dutch ILENT.
• In possession of valid travel documents
• Experience on similar type of cargo vessel
• Experience with MAK main engines is a preference for chief engineers
• Ability to work under stress and a flexible attitude
• Be able to work both as a team player and independently in a structured manner
• Good organizational and administrative skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
