You can make your mark as Work Class Remotely Operated Vehicle (WROV) Onshore Coordinator at Boskalis Marine Services by being in charge of a challenging and complex piece of robotic equipment.
You will be responsible for the coordination and management of our worldwide WROV operations and maintenance activities from our onshore base. This role is crucial to ensure the efficient and safe operation of our WROV systems, which are used in fields ranging from subsea oil and gas development projects, IRM (Inspection, Repair and Maintenance), offshore wind projects, construction to UXO surveys, cable lay / pipe lay, trenching, salvage and scientific research. Some of the projects our teams have worked on, are the Offshore Wind Installation Kincardine, the EDP project in El Salvador and UXO (unexploded ordnance discovery and recovery/removal) projects.

Your responsibilities
- Coordinate all WROV operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards (such as IMCA) and company policies;
- Develop and maintain schedules for WROV Maintenance & Repair programs;
- Liaise with offshore WROV teams to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency;
- Monitor and report on the performance, including budgets, for the WROV systems and equipment;
- Ensure all WROV operations adhere to safety regulations and best practices;
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for WROV systems;
- Manage inventory and procurement of spare parts and consumables for WROV operations;
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of WROV equipment and facilities;
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation and reports on WROV operations;
- Collaborate with Operation managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met;
- Liaise with and manage subcontractors on WROV services.
Your qualities and experience
At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Experience in working with electronics, hydraulics and/or mechanics;
- Experience with Work Class ROVs is preferred;
- Offshore experience is preferred;
- Education (bachelor’s) degree in mechanical, electrical or electronic engineering, Marine Technology, or a related field;
- A team player mentality;
- Willingness to travel globally, to our WROV systems, subcontractors and vessels;
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and relevant software applications;
- Knowledge of industry safety standards and best practices;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, in a 24hrs industry;
- Professional English communication skills (both written and verbal).

- Your team: You will be part of the WROV Onshore team of Boskalis Marine Services with colleagues working from Papendrecht, Antwerp, Singapore and Rio de Janeiro. You work together with Fleet, Crewing, Finance, SHEQ and commercial colleagues, as well as our main subcontractors.

- Full/part-time job: The position of Onshore WROV is a full time (40 hours a week) job.
