Position
As the QHSSE Coordinator Marine, you are responsible for coordinating and monitoring the implementation and compliance of Roll Group’s QHSSE standards for RollDock Shipping/BigRoll Shipping. Ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation, approved codes of practice and company policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities
As the QHSSE Coordinator Marine, you'll embark on a journey that involves:
- Oversee QHSSE aspects of Marine operations, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Lead and optimize the tender process, ensuring safety standards are upheld throughout.
- Collaborate with ship masters, superintendents, and stakeholders to uphold safety and compliance.
- Evaluate incident reports, analyze trends, and drive effective corrective/preventive actions.
- Manage and prioritize CAPAs, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct thorough internal and external QHSSE audits to maintain rigorous standards.
- Act as deputy DPA & CSO, providing crucial support to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Provide hands-on support to relevant projects, emphasizing safety and environmental considerations.
- Monitor and analyze legislative changes, ensuring timely mitigation of associated risks.
- Foster a proactive QHSSE culture, emphasizing continuous improvement and adherence to best practices.
Your qualifications
- Intermediate Vocational Education (Maritime Officer or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a seafarer
- 5+ years in a similar position
- Desirable Qualification: DPA & CSO
- Practical mindset with growth potential.
- Independent worker.
- Willingness to travel abroad.
- Interest and knowledge in sustainability.
- Fluent in English (both verbally and in writing).

Our selection process
