Vaage Ship Management (VSM) was founded the 10th of May 2006.
Our head office is located in Bergen, Norway. It is our aim to satisfy our customers through professional and reliable ship management services.
The foundation of our policy “WE CAN DO IT” is based on qualified employees and professional attitude towards the responsibility and trust given to us by the ship owners.
Our flexible services include technical management, inspections, purchase, accounting, insurance, crewing and project development.
VSM has branch offices in Schoonhoven, The Netherlands for technical management and Riga, Latvia for crewing and quality control.

Vacancy:

For our branch office in Schoonhoven we are searching for an experienced Technical Superintendent, in this function we expect you to be able and technical manage the to you assigned sea-going vessels, in the broadest sense of the word:

• Preparing of budgets regarding dockings, repairs, spare parts and general supplies.
• Coordinating and executing of repairs and maintenance of the vessels complying with the demands of classification societies, flag state and customers.
• Supervising the planned maintenance onboard the vessels.
• Inspecting vessels under own technical management as well as for 3rd parties.
• Selection of masters and officers.

We are looking for candidates who preferably have sailed in an engineer officer position and already have some experience in technical management ashore.

Most activities will take place from our office located in Schoonhoven, you however must be willing to travel to the vessels on regular basis.
